  • Technology should be applicable to teachers, students, and the core content
  • 0% of students participate in e-mail or Internet Messaging during instruction time
    • Not recommended to incorporate these activities into the curriculum
    • Neither activity would be the best use of incorporating technology into core content curriculum at this time
  • PowerPoint and tutorials are both utilized with a 60% frequency while graphing applications are utilized with a 40% frequency
    • All three activities would benefit students in addressing core content and technology standards
    • PowerPoint is applicable to every content area
    • Graphing is a taught and tested math skill; should be incorporated cross-curricular.
    • No tutorial or practice/drill program will be identified for the content areas of Language Arts, Social Studies, and Religion
      • A recommendation will be submitted to the technology department recommending Math Facts in a Flash and FASST Math to be considered for incorporation in the 2008-2009 academic technology needs request as a whole school implementation.
